Museum] Commemorative Mini-Exhibition "100 Years of the Yubetsu Railway
Yubetsu Coal Railway （ which carried people, coal, and cargo to and from Kushiro Port until （ 1970 ） Yubetsu Coal Railway ）. 2023 is the 100th anniversary of its opening in 1923 （ Taisho 12 ）. The steam locomotive "C11 1" （, which was in service at Kushiro Kaihatsu Wharf from 1970 to 1975 ）, was restored as "C11 123" by Tobu Railway and has been in operation since 2022, The renewed parts from the restoration will be acquired as local materials and stored in the museum. To commemorate this, we will hold a mini exhibition ・ and related events.
